Morse Model 185A-HDSS stainless steel heavy-duty below-hook drum carrier allows you to lift, move and pour a drum weighing up to 1500 Lb., or a half-full* drum up to 800 Lb. Model 185A-HDSS heavy-duty below-hook drum carrier is equipped with the MORcinch Drum Holder to handle a 55-gallon steel drum with 22" to 23.5" outside diameter between the ribs. It also accepts MORcinch Options to handle basically any drum on the market.

This below-hook drum lifter adheres to the ANSI/ASME B30.20 standard for mechanical, below-the-hook lifting devices as it applies to the following:

  • Rated load markings and unit identification
  • Minimum design safety factor of 3, based on yield strength, for load bearing structural components
  • Welding is performed by certified welders who have passed the ANSI/AWS D1.1 welding qualification test
